We take the health of our community seriously and are adhering to the guidelines provided to support health.
Spacing - Please take care to maintain recommended physical distancing. To support this we have added more shoe storage outside the therapy room and have repurposed the small studio into a waiting area. You can also wait on the seating outside the therapy area. We have made more space in the back room upstairs for more spacious bag and coat storage and retrieval.
Mats - You will need your own mat and we have some in the studio that you can buy - details here. I kicked holes in so many mats on my yoga journey that I don’t want you to have the same expense personally or for the planet!
Changing rooms - We are required to minimise time spent in enclosed spaces, so please arrive in the clothes you will be practicing in wherever possible.
Blankets - If you would like a blanket for Savasana meditation please bring your own as we are currently not permitted to provide them.
Hand Hygiene - Please use the hand sanitiser provided or your own when entering the building. Interior doors will be open to minimise contact with touchpoints. Please wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds after using the toilet.
Assists - Teachers will not be walking around offering assists until advised it’s sensible to do so but as the classes will be so spacious we will be able to offer individual guidance from my mat.
Masks - Yoga teachers have been advised that it is not advisable for teachers or students to wear masks but that if you choose to do so that’s fine, but perhaps have a practice run-through at home first.
Attendance if Sick - In accordance with public health guidance please do not attend class for 14 days if you have any symptoms of Covid19, have been contacted by track & trace to be tested and are awaiting a test, have tested positive or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive.
Cleaning - All surfaces and touchpoints including floors will be disinfected between classes. The studio will be ventilated for a minimum of 15minutes after a class and 30minutes before a class.
Mat distances - will be marked out for ease.
