We are very grateful to Active Lancashire and Sport England as well as our community of yoga students and teachers for supporting the funding of our Wellbeing Programme.
This programme is free to access from January to April and anyone can book onto the classes through our timetable. Simply look for the classes listed below.
We are delighted to be able to make wellbeing-supporting classes acessible to all, especially to those on low incomes whether in employment or not, and those with long-term illnesses. Many of us have been affected bu reduced incomes and additional stressors at this time and it's more important than ever to join together in community and to look after our wellbeing.
We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy community and joyful physical activity together, so whatever your circumstances, if you would like to attend please do book your place on our timetable.
How to Book or Refer - Book on our timetable
Anyone can book to participate in the classes.
If you are referring a client please provide your clients with the link to our timetable.
Classes show on the timetable 4 weeks before they take place to try to avoid them getting booked up ahead of time and then people's plans changing.

Our gentlest class, suitable for all. A slow and gentle class participated sitting in a chair or wheelchair. Small movements will mobilise the joints and gently increase flexibility, balance and strength while breathing exercises will help improve respiratory health and mood.
Key Points: Suitable for all, including those with pain conditions and diabetes.
A very gentle class suitable for all. The class can be participated in seated on the floor or in a chair but there are also more options offered for those who might want more movement. Slow small and large movements mobilise joints and gently increase flexibility, balance and strength while breathing exercises will help improve respiratory health and mood.
Key Points: Suitable for all, including those with pain and lung and heart conditions and diabetes.
A class for those who do not have physical health conditions that restrict movement and who enjoy movement. Fluid movements synchronised to the breath and much shorter holds of postures, we will repeat the sequence each week so that you gradually learn the movements and can do them at home whenever you like. This class is especially suitable for those with anxiety as the repeated movements bring in preditability and control.
Key Points: Suitable for those who are relatively physically fit and who enjoy a challenge. Especially suitable for anyone who is missing their usual fitness classes. Excellent for those with anxiety.
An uplifting, energetic class that combines basic beginner-friendly ballet and yoga moves with dancefloor grooves and 70s and 80s tunes. No need to have any experience with ballet or yoga. Tones legs, bums and arms while having fun.
Key Points: All movements are fully demonstrated so this class is suitable for those with deafness. Although the teacher will be demonstrating standing each move includes arms and legs and so can be practiced in a chair moving what you can, how you can. Also suitable for those who are physically fit who are missing their usual fitness classes. It is useful to have a dining room chair, or wall to be able to use to support balance in this class.
Body Groove (from March)
Amazingly fun, uplifting accessible dance class with a difference.
No complicated routines to learn, low-impact and dance as energetically as you like. Rather than just following me exactly, I’ll teach you how to make each movement perfect for your body, no matter what your fitness level, and no matter what limitations you have that day.
Key Points: Accessible for all bodies at all ages. Although the teacher will be demonstrating standing each move includes arms and legs and so can be practiced in a chair moving what you can, how you can. Also suitable for those who are physically fit who are missing their usual fitness classes.
Pound Drum-Beat Fit
A highly adaptable class allowing everyone to move as much or as little as they feel. High energy and upbeat, fun class clapping along to the beat of uplifting songs while lunging and squatting.
Key Points: All movements are fully demonstrated so this class is suitable for those with deafness. Each move includes arms and legs and so can be practiced in a chair moving what you can, how you can. Also suitable for those who are physically fit who are missing their usual fitness classes.
Although we are aiming to make as many of the sessions as possible available to a wide a group of participants as possible, we are able to offer a limited number of bespoke commissioned classes as part of our funding to meet specific needs of your community members.
