We're absolutely thrilled to be welcoming the inspirational, fun and encouraging Scott Johnson back to Preston.

 

He's a hard man to tied down and we booked him for this back in summer 2018, so he's not to be missed!

Schedule 

Friday Jan 31st

7-9am: Mysore practice 

 

6-8pm: Techniques Workshop:- The forward folds, standing and seated. 

Where to ground, where to lengthen, deepening without injurying 

 

Saturday Feb 1st

10am - 12pm: Mysore practice 

 

1:00-2:30pm Technique Workshop:- Inversions and Backbends. How and where to find strength and openness.

 

3pm - 4pm:- The other limbs:- Pranayama practice, Guided Meditation and an exploration and chanting of the Ashtanga mantras.

 

Sunday Feb 2nd

Mysore: 10am - 12pm

Scott Johnson travels the world inspiring and empowering yoga students and teachers - and we're thrilled to have him return to Preston.

 

Scott is a senior John Scott 500 hr teacher, authorised to teach Primary and Intermediate series and has studied extensively with the Clear Mind Institute having gained level 3 certificate in Mindfulness and Compassion.

 

He is founder of Stillpoint Yoga in London and co-founder of Amayu yoga which is focused on student empowerment, compassion and skillful teaching in the Ashtanga practice.

 

Scott is a truly inspirational teacher. He has a warm and encouraging approach and fills the practice room with calm focused joy in movement. His dedication to the Ashtanga practice and his commitent to empowering students shines through in his student-focused assists which deepen the student's knowledge of their body and give space to breathe and grow.
